That Starmer's Labour would follow the same "act without thinking it through" policy process as Blair's was entirely predictable. I still remember Blair apparently waking up one morning and decreeing that the office of Lord Chancellor was gone, bringing the whole Constitution to a halt because of the central role of the post. That major faux pa's should have been better covered by the MSM, but of course it wasn't.
Ignoring the Cass Review and pressing forwards with a conversion therapy ban is the scariest thing they’ve done yet. And impoverishing pensioners even further, nice one Rache.
So far Wes Streeting has been making the best decisions and Ed Miliband the worst.
I suspect a lot more of the gender bullshit is going to enter our school curriculum’s and will be so hard to get rid of when Labour are removed.
One saving grace may be that they will be in power for so long that they may actually have to deal with the consequences of their decisions.
Great stuff Gareth. One tick in the plus column. Wes Streeting on puberty blockers. Everything else in the minus column as far as I can see. Here’s my take on Labours first few days-if your wonderful readers are interested. Thanks! https://open.substack.com/pub/lowstatus/p/cell-damage?r=evzeq&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
